Injured Vinay Kumar out of SL series
Team India suffered an early setback even before the season kicked off with Karnataka pacer, Vinay Kumar missing out on the Sri Lanka ODI series with a hamstring injury. Kumar will be out of action of atleast 3 weeks and will miss the 5 match ODI series against neighbours Sri Lanka which starts on July 21. Irfan Pathan has been named as the replacement for the injured Vinay Kumar. The Baroda all-rounder had a disappointing last outing in the Asia Cup and will be hoping to make amends.
