' I Must Credit M S Dhoni'-says Bravo

Chennai, Sep 28: Dwayne Bravo set up a sensational four-wicket win for Chennai Super Kings after his side threatened to lose a match they should have won comfortably in the first place. After Cape Cobras had been restricted to 145, the Chennai side soon found itself blundering in the run chase as they were reduced to 77 for five. However, Bravo's arrival at the wicket turned the tide in favour of the Chennai team. Bravo smashed 17 runs off Dale Steyn to bring the required run rate within CSK's reach. The all-rounder hit the winning runs for CSK as he remained unbeaten on 46 off just 25 deliveries.
Excerpts from Bravo's post-match press conference:
On whether low scoring games are a good advertisement for T20 cricket
I think it's good. It tests the ability of the players. It tests the character of the team… how well can they bounce back. It's a relaid pitch, so even we are not used to the conditions. But as the tournament goes on, we'll get accustomed to it. Lots of teams are struggling, but it's a good wicket. If you bat properly and bowl well then you will get the results.
On whether Cape Cobras erred in giving Dale Steyn the 19th over
I don't think so. He is one of the best bowlers in the world. Any captain will back Steyn to bowl at that point in time. It so happened that the ball didn't come out right. Obviously, as a batsman, you need one big over and the game will change. I must give credit to MS [Dhoni]. While batting out there he allowed me to stay calm and control the game right until the end. Unfortunately he got out but when he got out I knew it was the perfect opportunity for me to make a name for myself and take the team home.
On chasing
In T20 cricket, chasing is always difficult. Having said that, the first six [overs] are very important. With our batting line-up, even if we are chasing 150, we back ourselves to get it but it does get harder in the second innings. There has been a game played earlier on this wicket and that makes it even more difficult. But if you don't panic and allow the game to go right till the end and back yourself, then any team can win chasing 140 or 145.
